Zenith Training and Open North Foundation strike partnership to help firms hit development goals

A training provider is partnering with a support organisation to help businesses meet targets.

Hebburn-based Zenith Training is working with Open North Foundation (ONF) to assist operators with personnel development, skills and apprenticeship goals.

Not-for-profit ONF is funded entirely by members of the North East business community, and was originally established to support organisations impacted by COVID-19.

It has since broadened its scope to support firms facing economic stagnation due to non-pandemic issues.

Paul Smissen, Zenith Training director, said: “We work with organisations and individuals across the North East, where we apply our knowledge and experience to each scenario to deliver structured and responsive training programmes with measurable outcomes.

“Our partnership with Open North Foundation shows our commitment to the region’s SMEs and our dedication to making the North East a great place to work and live.”

Richard Swart, Open North Foundation chair, added: “We are delighted with the partnership with Zenith Training.

“The strategic alignment and purpose of ONF and Zenith Training are well matched, with both focusing on business sustainability and growth, which are required, more so than ever, in the current challenging environment.”

As part of its partnership, Zenith Training has donated what bosses describe as a “significant sum” to ONF.
