North East wine merchant to host final leg of wine festival

Independent wine merchant Carruthers and Kent is set to host the final leg of Matthew Jukes’ 100 Best Australian Wines Festival 2024.

Handpicked by Australian wine expert and journalist Matthew Jukes, ‘The Best 100’ showcases the finest Australian wines of the year, designed as a balanced modern collection of styles, covering all price points and a multitude of different regions.

The festival makes its Newcastle debut at Wylam Brewery on the 19th May, following tastings at the Tate Modern and the Edinburgh Academy earlier this year.
