Just Travel Cover gets 2020 underway with 10 new recruits

Sunderland-based Just Travel Cover has expanded its team as part of a planned growth strategy for 2020 with 10 new appointments.

The travel insurance provider, which recently celebrated 20 year in business, has added to its number at a time of year when holidaymakers most often start thinking about their summer breaks.

The business now employs 60 people in totals and offers cover to people of all ages, including those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Two of the new recruits came through a skills support programme that helps unemployed people get back into work. The recruits went on a five-day course tailored specifically to Just Travel Cover and were guaranteed an interview thereafter.

Six of the other new team members were hired as apprentices and the final two came from previous employers.
