Pentagon Assurance doubles turnover after a string of client wins

South Tyneside-based firm Pentagon Assurance has doubled its turnover after securing several new contracts in the energy sector.

Established in 2017 at One Trinity Green in South Shields, Pentagon Assurance helps clients within the engineering, manufacturing, energy and construction industries to manage projects by managing risks and implementing change.

After doubling its turnover, the business is primed for continued growth in 2020. As well as securing offshore and subsea contracts, Pentagon Assurance has teamed up with The Energy Check to offer energy audits to business and domestic clients.

It is thought this will enable clients to identify cost-saving measures and make sustainable improvements to reduce their emissions.

Pentagon Assurance’s growth has facilitated a move into a larger space at One Trinity Green and the recruitment of new staff.

Barry Cooper, managing director of Barry Cooper, said: Our customers come from a range of industries and are looking to us for expertise to help them develop sustainability of their organisations by managing risks and uncertainty in project delivery.

“Whilst we have a successful track record within the energy sector, our partnership with The Energy Check signifies a change in our approach to offer an energy use initiative, which is not sector specific. Our offer together with our technical expertise in this field is what sets us apart.

“Our business is about confidence. Our results to date reflect the confidence of our customers, particularly in the energy sector and our backlog of secured work until 2023.”
