Blumilk launches £50,000 Business Rebuild Fund

Creative and digital agency Blumilk has launched a £50,000 COVID-19 Business Rebuild Fund after posting record turnover in the first half of this year.

Founded by Col and Adam Robertson more than 20 years ago, Blumilk is one of the few companies to have thrived throughout the global pandemic and is now giving back to businesses in the North East.

Lauren Hindhaugh, client director at Blumilk, said: “This is one of the biggest challenges that our nation has ever faced and we have to pull together.

“We need to spread the word and let businesses in our region know that we are here to help.

“We have made this fund really easy to apply to, for any North East based business who is in need of extra help and support.”

Business in the region who want to apply for the digital and creative support will need to fill in the online application form and Blumilk will be in touch to confirm if the application is successful or not.

Lauren added: “Once we have your application, the support can start as quickly as required with our account management, design and digital team on hand to help.”

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) is one of the first businesses in the region to have signed up to the fund after facing unprecedented funding challenges while concentrating on providing PPE to protect its paramedics, doctors and pilots.

GNAAS can access up to 60 hours of free support from the Blumilk team.

With offices in Glasgow and London, Ouseburn-based Blumilk has had a record year for new contract wins and revenue generation that has surpassed even their best expectations.

Creative director and co-founder, Adam Robertson, said: “Yes it’s been challenging, pitching a presentation with multiple creative aspects on Zoom.

“With the kids at home, interacting across a screen isn’t the easiest, but the warmth and understanding from everyone has been unexpected and has put the heart back into the business world and made us even closer as a team.

“I am so proud of every one of our team who have spent what has been the worst few months for the whole world, working to try and keep the North East business community going, is something we will never forget.

“We just need to spread the word that we are here to help.”
