DigitalCity to offer free expert-led workshops to Tees Valley SMEs

Teesside University-led initiative DigitalCity is holding a series of free online workshops and bespoke mentoring opportunities this autumn for SMEs based in the Tees Valley.

Led by industry experts, the workshops will cover key themes that are paramount to businesses during this challenging time. Cyber security, e-commerce and digital tools for remote working are taking place over the upcoming weeks in September, with more topics to be announced in the coming months.

Tees Valley business leaders and managers are invited to attend and learn alongside like-minded peers during the fully-funded afternoon sessions. Following this, they will be given the opportunity to receive one-to-one mentoring and consultancy from the delivery team to support current projects, opportunities or challenges in more detail.

DigitalCity will be joined by Ben Kenyon, director of North CS to deliver the cyber security workshop while co-founders of the award-winning digital consultancy firm, Braid Consulting, will deliver the e-commerce and digital tools sessions.

The online workshops are part of a suite of new digital offerings from DigitalCity which has put considerable effort into enhancing its online offer in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
