eQuality Solutions reveals Alison Costello as group finance director

A technology firm offering cognitive disability and mental wellbeing support has appointed a new group finance director.

eQuality Solutions (eQS) has welcomed Alison Costello to its team.

Headquartered in Hebburn, eQS – which recently underwent a management buyout – operates nationally, providing disability, diversity, inclusivity and mental wellbeing solutions.

Primarily based in the higher education sector, its supports around 10,000 students annually and bosses say it is on track to achieve full-year revenues of £8.5 million.

Alison joins following previous roles where she was responsible for driving financial performance, improving processes and implementing new approaches.

Her CV includes leading the merger and acquisition transaction of Intellectual Property and Software Limited and two supporting businesses by LeoVegas Group, while achieving 30 per cent revenue and net profit year-on-year growth.

She also relocated and led the Network Rail finance function responsible for handling national procurement activities with spend level in excess of £1 billion.

She said: “I was excited to take on this position because I felt the values, purpose and vision of eQS really resonated with my own.

“One of my core strengths I look forward to applying to the role is my ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders and senior stakeholders to provide advice and insights as a key financial leader.

“I am passionate about driving performance by building, leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams, while guiding organisations through complex strategic change.

“I’m delighted to be joining an acquisitive business at this exciting moment in its expansion and growth.”
