Newcastle-based Gas Angel has launch a new website with an online platform that allows customers to get a fixed price boiler quote in less than a minute.
The platform was developed in response to homeowners’ growing frustration at have to take time out to get an accurate boiler quote.
Heating industry professional David Mooney set up Gas Angel in 2007 and he and marketeer Amy Mooney have joined forces to deliver this new website and change the way home heating is purchased.
From its base in the North East, Gas Angel has built a strong following with local homeowners and landlords seeking domestic heating solutions with high safety and customer service standards.
Now it is hoped that by introducing an online shopping experience with quick quotes, Gas Angel will be able to attract many new customers as well as returning ones.
David said: “We’ve been lucky to build a loyal following across the North East who return to us again and again.
“We don’t take this for granted and listen carefully to what our customers tell us, but this has changed drastically over recent years with customers now complaining that they never have enough time.”
Brand strategist Amy added: “We spent the first few months of the year, digging into a reoccurring customer complaint about waiting home for a heating engineer turn up.
“The main worries raised were around using up annual leave to stay home for a boiler quote, followed closely by cutting into family time at the weekend, and feeling awkward discussing money with a stranger in their home.”
This is what prompted the team to set about rebuilding Gas Angel to meet the growing demands of their customers.
