GPG’s French operation opens new Paris headquarters

The French division of Global Procurement Group (GPG) has expanded into a new Paris headquarters.

Energies France, which is Northern Gas & Power’s sister operation, had outgrown its three previous offices and the move into a 5400sqm space will enable the company to expand its headcount to 500.

Energies France has seen revenues grow at over 110 per cent per year from 2017 to 2020.

The new Paris HQ will support future expansion plans and help the company reduce costs, carbon and consumption.

Energies France provides procurement services and energy technology to a range of business consumers.

It currently supports 17,000 customers identify and secure competitive energy deal to power their operations.

France is considered to be the largest deregulated energy market in Europe, providing a springboard for increased expansion over the coming years.

Energies France director Jeremy Seront said: “We will continue to focus on expanding our procurement offer and tech innovation to capitalise on and capture the increasing demand by French business consumers for energy procurement and technology solutions.

“We will also continue to invest in long-term growth and anticipate our revenue will grow 100 per cent year-on-year over the next 5 years.”

The company also recently launched a new comparison site – Energie Supermarche.

Targeted at French SMEs, the website aims to generate price comparison in under 10 seconds and allow customers to save costs quickly and get back to business.
