Haulage and plant hire firm Scott Bros driving on with £250,000 fleet investment

A family-run haulage and plant hire operator has spent £250,000 to upgrade its fleet.

Scott Bros has taken delivery of two new road sweepers and a grab lorry, which replace vehicles drawing to the end of their working life.

Scott Bros operates four road sweepers for hire from Leeds up to Edinburgh, and a fleet of four grab lorries across the North East, which are used to move waste or carry a range of mainly recycled aggregates.

Peter Scott, a director of Scott Bros, which is headquartered in Billingham, near Stockton, said: “We continue to make significant and ongoing investments in both our machinery and vehicles to ensure this firm continues to innovate and grow its business.

“It’s vital in such a competitive market to keep up with the latest advances in vehicle technology.

“As a family-run company, these new additions to the fleet also underline our commitment to providing customers with the best possible service and equipment.”
