Investing heavily in major regeneration schemes

Morpeth-based property investment specialist, Admired Properties, has demonstrated its national reach, brokering a deal for 70 properties at the prestigious new Middlewood Plaza, Salford, Manchester and a further 41 sales at Westminster Works, Birmingham.

Gary Powell, managing director of Admired Properties, worked with developer, High Street Residential, brokering the deals through his global investment property partners.

Middlewood Plaza, which is situated in the heart of the £1 billion regeneration zone of Middlewood Locks, is a luxury residential development located within walking distance of Manchester city-centre.  Featuring split-height blocks of six and nine storeys, it has 127 units consisting of stylish apartments, townhouses and duplexes.

Westminster Works, located close to the proposed high-speed rail network, HS2, linking Birmingham and London, is on the edge of the second city’s Southern Gateway £1 billion regeneration zone and is currently being developed. It will provide, overseven storeys, 220 units, comprising one and two bedroom apartments.

Gary, said: “The regeneration taking place in both cities is truly impressive and much of the development that is planned will have a profound impact on both locations for decades to come. I take great pride in knowing exactly which investor is suited to which developer and I still get the same amount of satisfaction when a deal is brokered as I did when I first began working in property.

“It is an excellent time for property investment in the UK. Demand for housing is outstripping the supply and our global investment property partners are all too keen to be involved in the much needed developments that are happening around the country right now.

“Looking to the future, we know that the need for new housing is only set to increase and we have investors on standby who we can line up with developers at the touch of a button.”

Admired Properties, which specialises in linking global investors, predominantly from Asia, with UK developers, is also working with High Street Residential – part of Tyneside-based The High Street Group of Companies – at the prestigious Hadrian’s Tower, Newcastle, where it has brokered the sale of 50 apartments.

Tony Morrin, head of investment sales, The High Street Group of Companies, said: “Working with Admired Properties allows us a level of reassurance as it provides a wealth of exceptionally credible global contacts with investment property partners that are positively looking for opportunities in the UK.

“Admired Properties has fast become one of our preferred agents. There are not many companies that we can present two development opportunities, in such quick succession, and have them broker over 100 sales. Knowing that we can call upon such a well-connected and respected business is a huge confidence boost when it comes to working on such large scale developments.”
