Lloyd Newcastle BMW and MINI are holding adrenaline-fuelled Driving Experience Days at Close House Golf Club to give motorists the chance to drive a route around the Tyne Valley, especially designed to get the most out of iconic vehicles, including the i8, the world’s first petrol-electric hybrid supercar.
Specialist members of the Lloyd team will accompany drivers on the route, to give them tips to get the most out of their driving experience, and to answer questions about the cars’ technology.
Lloyd head of business Michelle Caveney said: “We love nothing better than taking our cars out on the road. After all, that’s where they’re meant to be, and we can’t wait to share some of the latest BMW and MINI models with drivers in such a beautiful part of the world.”
BMW models on hand during the day will include the revolutionary hybrids, the i8, i3 and the new BMW X5 hybrid. Meanwhile, MINIs showcased are set to include the new Countryman and the new John Cooper Works Hatch.
Corporate guests are invited to join Lloyd on Friday May 19, while anyone can take part on Saturday May 20. Refreshments will be served in the Close House Clubhouse and everyone who attends will receive a £500 voucher to use against a new BMW or MINI.
Anyone who wishes to attend should book a place by contacting Rachael Kendall on (0191) 448 4075, or firstname.lastname@example.org
