Melius Cyber secures partnership with Sanderson Young

A North East cybersecurity firm is working with a regional estate agency to protect its IT infrastructure from cyber criminals.

Melius Cyber has signed up Sanderson Young to its scanning and monitoring service MELCaas.

The agreement will bring Sanderson Young’s IT estate into a 24/7 automated security scanning environment that detects breaches and works to prevent hacking from the inside out, rather than the traditional defence approach.

Melius co-founder and CCO Eldon Jobe said: “We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious local company like Sanderson Young.

“It is really great to work with a business that understands the risks of cyber to its customers, websites and staff; and takes it seriously.

“Our product will provide up to date monitoring and cyber security for the company’s entire IT estate, it is flexible, will grow with the business and develops through AI every day.”

Duncan Young, chairman of Sanderson Young, added: “At Sanderson Young we take the safety of our customers data extremely seriously.

“We had already taken precautions to protect their data and the Melius Cyber’s application is the extra step we needed to take to make us as secure as possible.”

“Melius Cyber’s team are also working with us to make the necessary changes to enable us to attain Cyber Essentials Plus certification”

“We looked at other solutions but found there was nothing on the market that could match the pricing and level of support for SMEs such like Sanderson Young.

Duncan continued: “The cyber risk to all businesses is a real present danger.

“We want to protect our client’s and their data to the best of our ability, the MELCaaS solution provides great protection and monitoring without breaking the bank.”
