A health tech start-up has expanded its workforce as it targets future growth.
FloKi Health has taken its project team from eight to 18 staff.
The Newcastle-based firm has invested in experience across technical development, sales and marketing to boost its offering of digital services that allow hospitals to manage and maintain medical equipment.
Among the new faces is business development director Nick Bramley.
With more than 30 years’ experience in sales, performance excellence and customer development, he will oversee new business strategy and outreach.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining such a dynamic business with a genuine passion to deliver improvements and value to the NHS.
“I hope to engage and inspire a wide range of NHS professionals, by showcasing the advantages that FloKi Health can bring to patient care through deployment of our smart technology solutions.”
The increase in project headcount is the latest announcement from FloKi, with the business having earlier this year revealed the development of its Bluetooth beacon technology.
Expanding on its existing product, bosses say medical professionals can now use FloKi’s solution to track and locate loan equipment in the local community, as well as within hospital walls.
