PG Legal appoints new managing director to lead growth strategy

A North East law firm specializing in commercial property, litigation and corporate solutions, has appointed a new managing director ahead of the implementation of its strategic growth strategy.

PG Legal will now be led by Jonathan Fletcher, who has been a director at the firm for seven years. Jonathan’s appointment to managing director coincides with the firm’s plans to increase revenues and attract new clients from across the region.

When Jonathan joined the firm in 2012, it enabled PG legal to expand its scope beyond commercial property and become the full legal service provider it now is.

He said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to drive the business forward. The support which I have received from the team, clients and the local business community has been outstanding.

“We have a fantastic business with a very bright future, driven by a team of dedicated and professional people. I look forward to continuing to grow the business and support more businesses of all sizes in their legal needs.”

PG Legal’s presence in Teesside is already growing, with new jobs being created and legal services provided across the Tees Valley. The plan now is to expand right across the region.

Jonathan continued: “Our priority is to provide pragmatic, commercially sound and affordable legal advice to the region’s SME’s. Whilst we can, and do, cater for larger commercial clients, a big part of our region’s economy relies on the success of SME businesses.

“We are proud to have evolved from a commercial property law firm to a friendly and approachable legal practice which offers a rounded approach to problem solving. We often have clients who anticipate they have one legal issue which turns out to be a separate matter. That is why we are here – to advise and guide businesses.”

The firm’s growth has also allowed for some other key appointments such as marketing manager Vikki Todd and tax solicitor Simon Briton.
