Royal IHC appoints new director to drive offshore growth

A supplier of equipment, products and services for the UK’s offshore industry, Royal IHC, has recently appointed Mark Gillespie to the position of executive commercial director (offshore).

Mark joins the company with more than 25 years of experience working in the offshore industry both in the UK and internationally for companies such as Technip and GE Oil & Gas.

Royal IHC employs over 300 members of staff and contractors in the North East at offices in Stocksfield, Newcastle, Blyth and Walker.

The company designs, manufacturers and supplies bespoke offshore systems for things like subsea trenching and underwater pipe and cabling equipment.

They are a significant inward investor for the North East and also have operations across Europe, Asia, America, Africa and the Middle East.
