Ryecroft Glenton celebrates trio’s promotion

A business advisory firm is celebrating the promotion of three employees who joined the company on the same day eight years ago.

Kenny Johnsone, Amanda Whitworth and Rachel Johnsone have all been promoted from senior to manager roles at Newcastle-based Ryecroft Glenton.

After joining the business, Kenny went on to complete his Association of Accounting Technicians and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualifications.

He was appointed to the role of training supervisor for the firm’s trainees in 2018 and is also a member of the firm’s cloud accounting team.

Amanda and Rachel started as placement students and both obtained first class degrees from Northumbria University in mathematics.  They subsequently qualified as chartered accountants in 2017.

The duo work across Ryecroft Glenton’s accounts and outsourced services, and audit and assurance service lines, acting for clients operating in a variety of business sectors.

Peter Glenton, pictured left with Rachel and Amanda, said: “I am very pleased to see three of our young professionals progress to the next stage of their careers. Their promotions are due recognition for their excellent performance.

“Amanda, Kenny and Rachel have all worked extremely hard and we are delighted to reward them.”

Ryecroft Glenton has offices in Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside, and has 14 partners.

It delivers advice across six areas, which include corporate finance, business tax and personal tax.

It also covers accounts and outsourced services, audit and assurance, and wealth management.
