Sintons host Amacus’ staff development program

Sintons law firm has instructed North East training company, Amacus, to devise three training programs as part of its commitment to developing its people and delivering excellent client service.

The training sessions were created for Sintons’ front of house staff to develop skills in customer care, team working and time efficiency.

In addition, Amacus delivered two courses for members of the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship (NESA) program to develop skills in delivering presentations and time management.

The sessions were hosted at Sintons’ headquarters the Cube, opposite St James’ Park. Feedback has been positive from the delegates, three of whom work at Sintons law.

Claire Atkins, head of HR at Sintons, who worked alongside Amacus to develop the training programs, said: “At Sintons, we have an ongoing commitment to giving our people opportunities to develop their skills, which in turn can help build their careers, and these three sessions have worked very well for everyone involved.

“They were developed to the exact requirements of the people involved, and the outcomes have been very positive.

“It was also great for Sintons to offer the two courses to our solicitor apprentices – having been involved in NESA since its inception three years ago. It is always a pleasure to be able to create further opportunities for these talented young people to thrive.

“Amacus were a very good partner in these projects, they invested the time to understand our requirements and created a program to meet our needs as a business, as well as those of the participants.”

Christine Hall, managing director at Amacus, added: “We are delighted to have worked with Claire and her team. The approach taken to design and deliver these bespoke training programmes is a true testament of excellent partnership working and as a result the training programmes have proved highly successful for all involved.”
