Time is running out – SMEs can access up to £6k

North East businesses have limited time to access funded support for innovation-up to 35% grant funding for work with external specialists.

Through Pathways to Innovation, RTC North can provide support with the development and commercialisation of innovative ideas, but time is running out for businesses to apply.

Eligible companies can access subsidised services for projects which lead to the development of new technologies, products, processes and services. From strategic planning, market strategy and helping companies to access proof of concept to other forms of funding, and procurement advice. Paul Marriot, Pathways to Innovation lead commented:

“Business grants can be used to help you overcome many challenges and barriers to business growth. From expansion, developing new products/services, leadership development and getting help with strategic planning and skills. Our experienced team at RTC North can help you take your business to the next level. I urge all businesses eligible to get in touch.”

RTC North has received funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

To be eligible to apply for help and support through RTC Grants companies will need to meet the following criteria; be based in the NELEP area, an annual turnover of less than £50m, operate in an ERDF eligible sector, have less than 250 employees.

Any interested businesses are encouraged to register on the grant application page no later than September 30, to allow time to complete their application by the deadline.
