Watson Burton appoints experienced litigator to professions and insurance team

Newcastle based commercial law firm Watson Burton has further strengthened its litigation capabilities with the appointment of solicitor Julie Brinkworth, who has 15 years litigation experience.

Julie will join the firm’s professions and insurance team, which is renowned for providing specialist advice to a diverse range of businesses including engineers, architects, surveyors, insurance brokers, financial advisers and accountants.

She brings a wide range of experience in acting for clients during major trials – and dealing with group litigation and multi-track matters – to Watson Burton.

The professions and insurance team, deal with complex and high value professional negligence disputes and advise on insurance policy coverage issues. The specialist team is highly ranked by both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 and is instructed by a number of key insurers and businesses in the construction and professional services sectors.
