Winners of the North East Businesswomen of the Year Awards announced

Winners of the 2019 North East Businesswomen of the Year (WIN) Awards were announced last month at a special dinner at the Grand Hotel in Gosforth Park.

The WIN Awards is now in its 20th year and was founded to recognise, reward and promote the achievement of women in business in the North East.

The following individuals and business were celebrated for their achievement over the last 12 months:

Best New Business – Nicola Wood, The Wonderful Wig Company

Best Small Business – Sophie Milliken, Smart Resourcing Solutions

Employer of the Year – Northumbrian Water Ltd

Innovation Award – Jill Hudson, Hudson Procurement
