A leading financial services team has joined forces with a North East World Cup winner to raise the profile of community sport nationwide.
Fintegrate Financial Solutions has pledged to back Tyneside service provider GiveToLocal’s innovative #InspiredToGive campaign.
And England’s Ashington-born paceman Mark Wood is supporting the drive to support grassroots sport and local communities via an exclusive video message.
Fintegrate – in conjunction with EValue and FE fundinfo – has offered to cover the cost of a holiday to Disney World Florida for a family of four as part of GiveToLocal’s 21 Days of Giveaways.
And Wood announced the North Shields-based organisation’s biggest promotion yet after becoming the latest A-list athlete to back the #InspiredToGive initiative.
Lee Parkinson, Chief Executive Officer at Fintegrate Financial Solutions, said: “Fintegrate was founded with the intention of having a large and lasting impact on the financial services sector.
“It is only fitting that we align ourselves with other ambitious organisations seeking to bring about positive change.
“GiveToLocal’s mission really resonates with us and we were delighted to be able to get behind their #InspiredToGive campaign as, in truth, it has inspired us.
“Family, community and working together towards a brighter future is really important right now.
“We are proud to be able to contribute something which the GiveToLocal community can get behind and which will give one lucky family a dream trip to look forward to as we come out of the other side of this health crisis.”
Fintegrate was established 15 months ago to increase efficiency within the financial sector using bespoke technology.
Its aim is to deliver cost-savings for financial advice firms by streamlining processes, improving compliance and simplifying the method of demonstrating that compliance.
And Fintegrate continues to make its mark as firms seek to adopt new technology and gain an advantage within the fast-changing financial sector.
Neil Gardiner, Chief Executive Officer at GiveToLocal added: “I would like to echo what Lee has said in terms of wanting to work with organisations committed to making a positive change.
“That’s what the #InspiredToGive campaign is all about and it’s fantastic that our key message resonates with Fintegrate.
“When they approached us about contributing to our 21 Days of Giveaways initiative there was a desire to do something different and to go the extra mile.
“Offering to fly a family of four to Disneyworld Florida in 2021 is an incredible gesture. We hope that as many people as possible take the opportunity to enter this giveaway before the end of the month.”
Wood, who won the World Cup with England last summer, announced the Florida giveaway last night [Tuesday].
The 30-year-old becomes the latest big-name cricketer to support GiveToLocal after former Durham team-mate Steve Harmison backed a service designed to deliver financial sustainability to community sports clubs and small businesses across the UK.
“I’d urge families everywhere to get behind GiveToLocal’s #InspiredToGive campaign and enter this fantastic giveaway,” he said. “Good luck to everyone.”
Fintegrate Financial Solutions works closely with UK-based technology company EValue and fund data and technology leader FE fundinfo.
“I think it’s clear to see that we’re not the only organisation looking to pivot to positive effect during the coronavirus crisis,” added Gardiner.
“Fintegrate is emerging as a key player on the financial services stage, backed by FE fundinfo and EValue, and their support can only underpin the work that GiveToLocal continues to do at a national level.
“We are constantly urging grassroots sports clubs and their local communities to come together during the coronavirus crisis. It’s important that like-minded organisations and businesses – however big or small – do the same.”
