A housebuilder says it is primed to nearly double its development portfolio after fending off economic challenges.
Homes by Esh says it expects to be working on seven sites by early next year.
The builder, part of Bowburn-headquartered Esh Group, is currently working on four sites of more than 600 homes, with its suite including hundreds on Darlington’s West Park Garden Village.
And bosses say it is ready to grow further thanks to a number of offers designed to help buyers counter ongoing mortgage and interest rate uncertainty.
Colin Willetts, deputy managing director, pictured above, said: “With planning applications in for multiple sites across County Durham, our portfolio is expanding at a steady pace.
“We are strengthening our pipeline further through strategic land acquisition across the North East, and anticipate we will have seven live sites as we move into 2025.
“We understand the challenges of the market and the uncertainty buyers may feel, and have introduced exclusive deals to support prospective homeowners and outweigh any small interest rate drops.”
Homes by Esh’s portfolio also includes Elder Brook Park and Hurworth Meadows, both in Darlington, and the four, five and six-bedroom Havelock Park development, in the town’s Blackwell area.
