Animmersion UK set for turnover growth as demand fuels progress

A technology firm says it is primed to “accelerate its trajectory” after sustained demand boosted its financial performance.

Animmersion UK expects turnover to increase by more than 25 per cent amid rising clamour for its services.

The Middlesbrough company is known for animation, virtual reality, augmented reality and software development support, as well as holograms and LED video walls.

And chief executive Samuel Harrison [pictured, above] says the strength of its order book leaves it well placed to continue expanding.

He said: “Our visualisations lend themselves to explaining and visualising particularly complex subjects to diverse audiences.

“We have grown strongly in each of our past two financial years, and expect to accelerate this trajectory this financial year.”

The business previously collaborated with Anglo American to create a 3D interactive map of its Woodsmith fertiliser mine, and is helping nurture workers of tomorrow with educational software support to Skills Development Scotland.

Samuel added: “The application and benefit of digital technology and immersive experiences is now recognised across industry and education.

“As a result, we are experiencing an increase in demand, which is only set to continue as new markets and opportunities present themselves.”
