AVID Technology appoints experienced operations director to lead growth strategy

AVID Technology has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of a new strategic director.

Bringing over 15 years’ experience in the aerospace, automotive, defence, rail and energy sectors, Graeme Cook joins AVID to assist in the delivery of their growth strategy, which aims to capitalise on the boom in clean automotive technology.

Graeme has held senior posts at firms such as Reece Group, Responsive Engineering and CAV Aerospace, running large-scale operations and setting up manufacturing facilities both in the North East and around the world.

Ryan Maughan, managing director at AVID Technology, said: “Graeme brings some amazing experience to AVID. His appointment is hugely significant as we begin to rapidly scale-up our manufacturing operations.

“Attracting someone with his breadth of experience in setting up and running manufacturing facilities, particularly specialising in high-volume and safety critical components and systems, will be a great benefit to AVID as we move forward.”
