Sage builds with deal for US construction software firm Corecon

A North East-founded international software firm has expanded after buying a US construction sector venture.

Sage has taken over Corecon.

Founded in California, Corecon provides preconstruction and project management software to contractors, construction managers and homebuilders for support across tenders and the connection of teams across projects.

Sage bosses say the agreement “expands its relationships with customers beyond financials and reinforces its position as a leading provider of cloud native technology for the construction industry”.

Julie Adams, Sage vice president of construction and real estate, added: “With construction businesses at different stages in their cloud adoption, it is important we provide technology that simplifies complex processes and helps them to work more efficiently and grow.

“By combining our trusted financial solutions with innovative cloud preconstruction and project management capabilities, we will deliver a system that can run every part of a construction business.”
