Sapere Software secures further Teesside University tender
April 23, 2019
A software and business solutions firm has been awarded a three-tender contract with Teesside University.
Sapere Software, in Stockton, previously worked with the university to provide technical audits and reports on digitalisation to businesses across a variety of industries.
Its new six-month tenders will follow a similar structure, building on web and mobile-based innovation with a further focus on system integration and development consultancy.
The work will be carried out through DigitalCity, a Teesside University initiative in partnership with the Tees Valley Combined Authority that aims to stimulate digital innovation and investment.
Paul Drake, Sapere operations director, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Teesside University again. Our business began through the university’s start-up scheme and that put us in a strong position to achieve the growth that we have.
“These kinds of projects really matter; they educate and provide a platform for scale and growth in businesses that they can act on when they’re ready.
“We have helped lots of businesses understand how to digitise services and we’d like to continue this on a wider scale going further.”
David Dixon, DigitalCity investment manager, added: ”It’s great for DigitalCity to be working with Sapere Software.
“Not only is it fantastic to see one of our supported enterprises flourishing and successfully tendering for projects, but we’re delighted that Sapere’s success is, in turn, creating opportunities for other Teesside University companies.”
