Accountancy and business advisory firm Baldwins makes promotions

An accountancy and business advisory firm has strengthened its leadership team with two promotions.

Baldwins has promoted senior accountants Tom Gale and Louise Watson to associate director positions at its Guisborough office, based in east Cleveland.

Tom and Louise’s new roles will see them support Baldwins’ partner Jon Gresham to ensure the office is run efficiently.

Tom, who has more than ten years’ experience within the industry, started his career at Baldwins – a CogitalGroup company – in 2014, and is looking forward to his new role.

He said: “I am really happy that all my hard work has paid off.

“I want to excel within this firm and thanks to the career progression opportunities Baldwins offers, I know this is possible, so I’m driven to achieve my goals within the company.”

Having worked for the firm for a decade, Louise is thrilled to have received the promotion.

She said: “I am looking forward to learning new skills and developing my personal qualities to enable me to be the best associate director I can be.”

Additionally, following an increase in demand for its Making Tax Digital services, Baldwins’ Guisborough office has employed two accounts assistants.

“We have ambitious growth plans for our 11 offices in the region and we will be looking to recruit further in the coming months.”
