4. In conversation with Rick Carter at Soho House West Hollywood

Join two-time Oscar® award-winning production designer, Rick Carter, for a conversation about his career and how his work has evolved into creating the TIME exhibit at the ESMoA Museum. Carter has been the go-to production designer for Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, James Cameron, and JJ Abrams. Most recently, his work will be seen in Spielberg’s upcoming film, The Fabelmans. His previous production designs convey notions of time itself, for films such as Avatar, Back To The Future, Forrest Gump, Jurassic Park, Lincoln, and Star Wars. Carter has translated his art and works into the TIME exhibit; an immersive collage that contemplates the concept of time.
